Elite Rugby Scholars welcomes new business ambassador – Adam Ashe

Elite Rugby Scholars are delighted to announce the addition of their first professional ambassador, Adam Ashe.  We spoke with the Scotland cap, Glasgow Warrior and newly signed L.A Giltinis (MLR) Back Row signing Adam Ashe about our aspirations of growing the game in the U.S. Adam already has a career to be proud of and makes the move from Glasgow to Los Angeles early next year to begin camp with the Giltinis ahead of their inaugural season in the MLR. He will also be working closely with UCLA Men’s Rugby to help them continue their development as one of the top college sides in the country.

Elite Rugby Scholars is the world’s first American College rugby consultancy service and offers knowledgeable and bespoke to players and their families throughout their journey. We have many years’ experience in securing top college rugby placements for talented students around the world. With the huge growth in the sport in America it has attracted talent in abundance. Not just at the Collegiate level, but at the Professional level as well. Major League Rugby has grown massively in the past four years and now boast 13 franchises with a further 8-10 in the pipeline.

With this move we believe Adam and Elite Rugby Scholars have a compatible brand and goals regarding developing rugby in the U.S. Our Founder & Director - Brendan McGroarty believes this to be an incredibly positive development.

â€œIt is hugely exciting to have a name like Adam Ashe on board to help us achieve our goals. I have watched Adam play in Glasgow and hopefully next year will be able to cheer him on in L.A. With Adam’s support we aim build our college network and extend our recruitment reach in the upcoming years. We want to help as many talented rugby players out to the States as we can. This in turn will raise the standard of the college game and provide the MLR with even better potential draft recruits.”

Adam was also supportive and keen to be involved.

"I am really pleased to be on board as an ambassador for Elite Rugby Scholars. I feel very excited to be heading out to play for the Los Angeles Giltinis. I want to get involved in growing the game of rugby in the USA.

I think it is such a great opportunity for young players from all over the world to study and play Rugby at some of the best colleges in the world.

Elite Rugby Scholars are making this opportunity much more accessible for a lot of the young talent out there."

With a turbulent year almost out the way we cannot wait too see what 2021 has in store for Elite Rugby Scholars, Adam and the Los Angeles Giltinis!
